Lighting is almost everything in photography and can elevate the ok to the extraordinary, it’s one of the most transformative skills any photographer can develop.

So don’t rely on post processing to make your pictures pop – to master your craft it’s vital to be able to see, understand and control light. Let multi-award winning photographer Simon Ellingworth simplify lighting, show you how to make the magic happen, how to setup and get the best out from wide array of affordable lighting including studio strobes, led panels, Arri hot lights, speedlights, etc.

You won’t need any previous lighting skills or experience, equally if you have, its still a great foundation.

You will need to bring a camera, lenses, memory card, note pad, pen and an open mind.

Towards the end, I like to do an anonymous critique of images and how you could have lit them better.  If you would like to be included, please bring no more than 3 images on a USB and give them to me on the day.  Unless you offer the information, this will be totally anonymous but I think it’s a great way to get some feedback on images.
