District Councillor Mimi Harker (Obe) officially opened Amersham Studios last night. The studio has been open for 6 very busy weeks so far and already delivered 7 courses and numerous shoots.
Amersham Studios is specialist photography education centre which already has 6 of the UK’s most popular educators and is attracting photographers from near and far. The studio is also open for hire or portraits, the studio is owned by entrepreneurs Justin Andrews and Simon Ellingworth. Simon’s also Editor of international magazine Inmybag and in 2013, he was a finalist in the ‘International iPhone Photography Awards‘, ‘Mobile Photography Awards‘ & ‘Professional Photographer of the Year‘, previously runner up in ‘Professional Photographer of the Year‘ and ‘Sony World Photography Awards‘.
“We’ve developed a stylish creative space where photographers can access the very best trainers and anyone else can get an awesome photo” joked Simon. “Our goal is to develop very accessable photography education for beginners and children too. We’re here to simplify photography and help people take better pictures regardless of camera or smart phone'”
