In person workshops are delivered as scheduled, on demand is immediately available and for physical products we ship we aim to ship with 24 hours and are sent via Royal Mail recorded services.

Some payment is required with booking, installments are available, payment in full is required before attendance.


We always shoot behind the scenes images and video and you will be informed if you are recording or live broadcasting during your workshop. Unless you specifically inform us that you do not want to participate, you give your consent to appear in all formats of media.


Due to the limited number of places available – payments are non-refundable in case of participant cancellation, or events having to be re-scheduled which are beyond our control.


All images that you create during education, be it in person, online or live are for non commercial usage.


Places are not transferable in the case of participant cancellation. You may also transfer your place to another person directly in consultation with us.


If you are unable to attend due to COVID, we will transfer you to another workshop or event.
Participants affected by workshops or events rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control such as COVID lockdown will not be refunded. They will receive a re-booking code and can transfer their original fee paid to any workshop available now, or at any time in the future, at no cost.


We reserve the right to cancel a workshop within 14 days of the workshop date should satisfactory numbers not be attained. In this case all monies paid to Trade Secrets Live / Amersham Studios will be refunded. Refunds exclude all personal costs incurred by the participant including but not limited to travel and accommodation expenses.



A booking is considered as confirmed after Amersham Studios receives cleared payment of deposit (Min 50% of full fee).


The client must ensure that all persons under the age of 18 have parents’ or guardian’s permission to be at the studio, for the purposes of the photography or filming, during the period of studio hire.


You agree to Amersham Studios using your photographs shared on social media or having been sent to use to share. Amersham Studios would always like to be able to use your photographs for our portfolio (print and web). We will not sell photographs to any third party unless agreed with you. Corporate clients can request for images/Video that we produce for them not to be used by Amersham Studios.


For the purpose of studio hire bookings the studio space must be left in its original state as it was found at the beginning of clients booking. Amersham Studios reserves the right to charge an appropriate fee for any cleaning we are required to conduct after your booking to restore the studio into its original state.


Time and duration for bookings start as per agreed time. If a client is late for a booking fees are incurred from the agreed booking time.


The client must ensure that his own public liability insurance is operative for all persons in the studio during the hours of use, to cover any accident, injury or death.


All bookings are made on a non-refundable basis. Amersham Studios may re-arrange your booking


Amersham Studios may terminate any booking or hire contract if the client shall be in breach of any of the Terms and Conditions.


The client must include set up and take down time within the hours booked, to avoid overtime charges.


The client may not without the written consent of Amersham Studios (a) remove the equipment from the studio premises; or (b) modify or alter or tamper with the equipment in any way; nor (c) use the equipment in a manner not recommended by the manufacturer; nor (d) allow the equipment to be used by any untrained or unauthorised personnel. Equipment must be returned promptly at the end of the hire period in the original condition.


Where extra expenses or time are incurred by Amersham Studios as a result of alterations to the original brief by client, or otherwise at their request, the client shall give approval to and be liable to pay such extra expenses or fees at Amersham Studios’ normal rate to the client in addition to the original expenses that has been agreed or estimated.


a) The client hiring the studio is responsible for all breakages, losses or damages caused to the studio or equipment by him/her, or any other person, during the use of the studio.
b) All equipment and services are supplied by Amersham Studios entirely at the risk of the client. Amersham Studios shall not be liable for any loss or damage to materials or props or equipment, including consequential loss and loss of profit however caused, arising out of the use or the inability to use the equipment supplied or agreed to be supplied.
c) No alterations, decorations or additions to the studio are permitted without the written consent of Amersham Studios.
d) The client shall pay any costs incurred by Amersham Studios arising out of any breach of these conditions.
e) The client must notify Amersham Studios at the time of supply if the condition of the equipment is not acceptable.
f) Amersham Studios shall not be liable to the client for any loss, damage, expense, or for any consequential loss (including loss of profit) whatsoever or howsoever arising out of or in connection with any of the following: any damage to or loss of property by the Client or the Clients servants or agents or any third party; any breakdown, stoppage or failure of the facilities and equipment provided in the studio or any other equipment supplied to the client by Amersham Studios.
