When we set out to open the UK’s Premier studio & education centre, we hadn’t been in a ‘hire studio’ for a decade and purposely didn’t visit any to get ideas – like you, we didn’t want to limit our thinking. We wanted to ‘re-imagine’ a studio from not only the photographers perspective, but from the educators, the models and the make up artists.
We know that you want:

So we did this:
Created a purposely plain and visually quiet stylish thinking space. There are no images on the walls to to impose style or limit your thinking. We have movable everything, power embedded into the floors, lighting systems on trolleys which like most of our equipment is stored out of sight.
We certainly didn’t limit our thinking on gear, if anything, we have a pretty unique gear manifesto where we proudly sit the very latest high end Broncolor lighting next to cheap ebay flashes. We also have everything in between – so wherever you are on your journey through photography we have a tool for you.
Through our international photography magazine; Inmybag; we work with some of the best photographers, educators and brands on the planet. So, rest assured, our training program will blow your socks off.
We’re here to help you be the best photographer that you can be…period. We love photography, in all it’s forms and at all levels. We might have the best gear, coffee, music and studio, but we are not pretentious or gear snobs. We’re laid back professionals.
To inspire your creativity, we will be assembling our pro team. Like any bunch of movie super heroes, they will all have different powers, but all will wear their pants on the outside of their trousers and call Amersham Studios home. We’ll follow their exploits around the world to inspire you and they’ll be sharing their skills and secrets with our customers.
In short, we think we’ve catered for all your needs right down to our command center tablet that enables you to select music on demand or your favorite spotify playlist, to control the settings of all our Broncolor lights remotely.
